My target market are Men and Women, ages 14-99, Military and Civilian. I enjoy working with African-American and Latino American women. As an LCSW with over 20 years experience, I have a plethora of experience counseling clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, self-esteem, relational conflict, etc. I use words life "Different" not "Disorder" when speaking to my clients. Different is not disorder. Emotional pain is not disorder. These are aspects of being human. I describe human experience in all its variety by trying to help those who are suffering and helping them work through their pain without stigma.
My passion is working with couples; Minority Women; military members and their families and anyone looking to re-focus their life's goals. My personal and professional experiences in all these areas are expansive and helping my clients discover new ways to be at peace with life and truly embrace their joy is totally rewarding.
My practice embraces complementary and holistic interventions such as: Meditation, Visualization, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Dietary Supplements and Aromatherapy. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is at the core of our treatment, the healing of the mind and body would be one-sided without these complimentary options.
