Howland is a seasoned Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder professional, who also holds certifications in EMDR, ACT and Callahan TFT, now known as EFT and/or the Tapping Solution. He has been in recovery from alcohol & drug addiction for 44+ years and from tobacco addiction for 34+ years. He has experience in working with people in the LGBTQ community, and extensive experience working with people who have experienced simple or complex trauma in either childhood or adulthood. Note: When you use the 207-295-7963 number I can't respond in a text format - only with phone or e-mail.
Howland trained at Shalom Mountain Retreat and Study Center in Livingston Manor, NY and is certified as an Advanced Process Therapist. He is also accepting new coaching clients (self-pay) who may have attended therapy successfully in the past and are working on their next steps to further enhance personal growth.
Howland is keen on Groups - especially for men. He has extensive experience, having been part of a non-facilitated Friday morning men’s group for 20 years. Looking to start a Men's Support Group online on Mon or Tue evening 6:00-7:30 PM. Could be weekly or bi-weekly depending upon interest level. As soon as we get 4-6 guys we'll start. Call if interested.

Groups
Evening Men's Group - How about early in the week?
A place where we can talk about whatever issues we need to in a safe environment. We'll start when we get enough guys committed to coming every week. A suggestion to prepare for the group would be to read Sam Keen's book, "Fire in the Belly: On Being a Man".
