If you have persistent worries or obstacles that stand in the way of living more fully, this could be a good time to have a consultation. My style is compassionate, listening fully and deeply providing you with the tools to make positive changes. I will work with you to create a safe and collaborative environment whether you are feeling anxious, depressed, struggling with relationships or work, issues of sexuality, LGTB, life transitions and loss, or addictive behavior. I hold an MSW and a certificate in supervision from NYU, and certificates in Imago Couples Therapy and Group Therapy.
I use an Imago Relational approach to couples therapy. This method enables partners to overcome difficult or seemingly hopeless situations. Learn how to replace patterns that aren't working, with proven skills that lead to mutual understanding and appreciation. Partners have the opportunity to feel enlivened and sustained in their relationship.

Howard Danelowitz's Groups

Mens Group

The group meets on Wednesdays 8-9:30pm at 156 Fifth Ave. I encourage new members to speak freely about their concerns, or remain silent and eventually begin to discuss thoughts and feelings with the group. The leader, along with the members help others to express stifiled emotions, to understand behaviors, and even to experiment with new attitudes and ways of coping. The new learning usually affects ones relationships outside the group in positive ways. The group is particularly helpful to individuals having unsatisfactory or very frustrating and disappointing relationships with others.
