Clients benefit from a therapist with a diverse background and life experience. I am a Christian counselor with a varied experience. I served in the US Navy, spent 15 years as a school teacher and served on a church staff . I was married for 50 years, widowed, now remarried in 2025. I have four adult children and ten grandchildren. I understand clergy and school related issues. I enjoy my family, being outdoors, and collecting Thomas Kincaid.
I serve couples ,singles and adolescents over 12 years old. Since I have many Christian clients (some clergy) , I am very sensitive to the social/spiritual ramifications of working with them. I also encounter various addictions on a regular basis. Dealing with male sex addiction is a prominent reporting issue
I am a Christian counselor but respect all clients regardless of religious belief or preference. Therefore, though available on request, prayer and Bible reading are not required as part of the therapy.My goal is to help not alienate. FYI my clients have rarely ever mentioned this to be a problem.
