I have worked in private practice since 1995. In that time, I have come to appreciate the collaboration and interplay between my clients and myself. I encourage people to pursue adaptations of their ideas, life choices and relationships as a way of taking charge of their own lives. Usually it takes many small shifts and multiple steps to lead to a beneficial outcome. It's not easy but therapy can be rewarding and life altering with the development of insight and the use of extra support to move forward.

I have been in the counseling and psychiatric field for over 40 years and continue to help clients with issues ranging from individual , marital, or family issues to problems with stress, anxiety, and depression from biological or other causes . I also specialize in treating childhood abuse , ADD/HD , Dissociative Identity Disorder,and chemical dependency. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis are among the approachs I incorporate.
