It takes courage to dive into the inner sanctum - the vicissitudes of one’s mind. Optimally, therapy takes us on such a journey, helping us overcome problems in living and reduce suffering while promoting self-awareness, personal development and growth. My approach is collaborative and empathic, with an interpersonal and relational emphasis.
My initial training and qualification as a psychotherapist was in London, England, where I worked in the National Health Service, specializing in adult and adolescent sexual health. Over the years, in private practice, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals and couples with a variety of mental health problems and psychosexual difficulties.
I am a licensed psychotherapist and a fully accredited United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) member. I am also a graduate of The William Alanson White Institute and a nationally certified psychoanalyst.
