I am Marcie Walker, the Hope Whisperer, who is accepting new clients! In a safe, warm, and supportive environment, I will honor the words you share with me, and travel your journey with you. I have personal experience in therapeutic work with adults and families, as well as working with students at these grade levels: Middle, high, and college ages. I have 23 years experience working with the special needs population. Preventing bullying is my passion, so it is no wonder that, for the past twenty years as staff and student, I have advocated for many who were bullied and treated unfairly.
I am a Christian counselor. When in session with you, I have the freedom to share God's word, pray with you, and even give homework from the Bible and other Christian books that will help you on your path to healing. I always send you home with a message for your soul from the Hope Tree and a bit of chocolate "for stomachs sake".
What is different about my practice is that my number one motivation is to offer hope, in any situation that you encounter. I am a very relational person who treats you during session as if there is no one on earth more important. My theme is: When the world says, "Give up", Hope whispers, "Just one more time".
