I believe healing IS possible. I am here to walk the path with clients to a place of growth and positive change. I have special interest in working with all ages on issues of terminal illness, grief, loss and death/dying with children, adults, families. I am a play therapist and work children with attachment, ADHD, trauma, behaviors. I work with women issues surrounding grief, personal growth, depression, trauma, PTSD and anxiety. Trained in sensorimotor psychotherapy for somatic work. I offer clients sessions partnering with nature, art play, and horses in my therapy choices. I am an Equine Assisted Mental Health practitioner.
Hope Tree has 4 offices, 2 play therapy rooms for working with children 2-12 and outdoor spaces. We support the use of nature/ animal assisted therapies. We are dedicated to working with multi-cultural populations. We believe in promoting internal/ external healing in our community. Sarah now only sees clients at the Hastings Mn office.
As owner/ director of Hope Tree Counseling our mission is to provide holistic, compassionate, eco systemic counseling for people throughout all seasons of life. We strive to mend the whole person. We serve children, adults, couples and families. Hope Tree offers clients sessions in nature, in office, or in the presence of horses or chickens .
