Our individual therapies include play, and talk therapy for children, adolescents and adults struggling with functioning in their families, school, community, and relationships. Cognitive Behavioral/Behavior Modification interventions are also provided. We are a dynamic and professional mental health service with a patient-centered treatment model geared toward providing services to the multicultural community within which it operates. Hope Services also accepts and treats adults. We are dedicated to the mental healthcare of children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Additional Languages Spoken: French, Haitian Creole.
Play Therapy, Creative Art Therapy, CBT, Coaching and Behavior Modification Interventions. Assessments are provided at intake and during the treatment process with the goal of determining the appropriateness of admission, to develop an understanding of the presenting problems, and to answer questions the client or family has regarding the therapy process.
Parents are an integral part of working with children and adolescents. Parents are encouraged to meet with the therapist on a regular basis to discuss issues as they arise, process ways to the help the child, and process progress being made. Psychoeducation interventions are critical. Family Counseling and Group Therapy are available.
