Groups
Mindful Movement
Mindful Movement is a body-centered group focused on movement as a mechanism for space creation within our nervous system. Participants can count on a container of consistency: 15 minutes opening for tune-ins to learn what’s present for each of us, 60 minutes of movement and meditation invitations, 15 minutes closing for processing what’s arrived during session. The group often features sound healing and guided relaxation. It is ideal for anyone wanting to befriend their body and seek calm. Facilitated by: Alex Bodie, MSW, LSW, Trauma Therapist

Taking up Space: Recovering from Abuse
Group members will learn skills to navigate relationships with difficult people, understand how their nervous system responds in abusive situations, discuss the residual trauma and patterns left by abusive partners or family members, and support one another's growth and self-awareness as they learn to feel comfortable taking up space and being themselves again. The group members will prepare for EMDR Therapy and move through the 8-phases of EMDR Therapy as a group. This group will launch again in Spring 2026 as soon as we have 6-8 participants.

Men's Group
Group therapy for exploration of your lived experiences through meditation, processing, parts work and mindfulness while in a community of other men. Garrett specializes in Gestalt therapy, and draws on other modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, EMDR Therapy, and other somatic and mindfulness based approaches. The group is open and ongoing, so new members can join at anytime. We ask for a minimum commitment to 6 weeks of group attendance. This group is hybrid - meeting via telehealth and also gathering in-person at the Hope Roots office in Fort Collins when possible.
