Helping people live a full, authentic life filled with self-understanding and self-compassion is why I do what I do. I provide individuals and couples a welcoming, intimate space to explore the nature of their feelings, fears, and desires. Guiding them through a deeper understanding of experiences unleashes the freedom to discover meaningful answers that make life's challenges easier to manage. Being honest with ourselves takes courage. Opening the book to our lives, sharing our personal stories, examining the traumatic chapters, and revisiting the twists and turns of relationships can lead to a healthier, happier life.

I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Since 1993, I've been licensed by the North Carolina Psychology Board and as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA). I've also received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Anxiety Disorders, Grief Work as well as Meditation and Mindfulness Practices.

Before I opened my private practice in 2015, I worked as a staff psychologist in a variety of inpatient and outpatient clinical settings where I provided psychological testing, group, and individual therapies. I have also taught college courses in Interpersonal Relations, Child Development, and Abnormal Psychology.
