I believe working as a counselor is my calling, not just my profession. I feel strongly that everyone deserves a safe space where they may speak about their thoughts, examine their feelings, unburden their past, and gain assistance in navigating the perspectives and tendencies that will determine their future. I have dedicated an extensive education and my life’s work to providing that safe space and learning techniques that can be of assistance. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minor in Christian Counseling, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, VA.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I enjoy working with a diverse range of client concerns for persons ages 6 and up within individual sessions, family sessions, couple’s therapy, and group therapy settings.
I am a certified SYMBIS facilitator and have found this model to be of great value in couples and/or pre-marital counseling.
