Our mission at Hope in the Gale Therapeutic Healing is to work with clients as they overcome those obstacles, strengthen hope, and find the joy so critical to healing and happiness. Our team includes Dr. Jeni Groot, who provides individual and group therapy tailored to your individual situation and needs, and Joseph Upton, a Recovery Peer Specialist who provides trauma-focused group and individual services.
Jeni’s approach to counseling is holistic, embracing diverse strategies for services as unique as you are. She is grounded in a person-centered philosophy that recognizes you as the expert in your life and seeks to empower you to make positive changes and find joy. Jeni sees a wide variety of clients but has specific expertise in trauma-focused work.
Joe’s experience as a USAF veteran with numerous combat deployments and work providing peer support to active-duty members returning home from service in conflict areas has uniquely prepared him to help those who may feel alone in struggles to which others cannot relate. He works to foster healing through understanding and structured support.
