My goal is to help find support and relief for adolescents and adults who are facing trauma, poor self-esteem, anxiety, depression, identity confusion, and emotional dysregulation. My approach is individualized to each person's unique background and identity, with consideration for how these differences shape values and life experiences.
I use a combination of trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based models, viewing therapy as a collaborative process that helps to uncover an individual's inherent strengths. Specific modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Therapy requires vulnerability which can be daunting, and finding a good fit can be exhausting! I will meet you with patience and transparency to answer any questions you might have.
