I have 20+ years of experience working work with individual, families, and couples who find it difficult to cope with daily life stressors, communicate, and manage feelings of anxiety/ depression. It can be a tough decision to acknowledge that change is needed in certain areas of our lives, the decision can be even tougher when you decide to take action. Together we will look at coping styles, problematic thoughts, and behaviors, that could possibly interfere with your personal living activities, so that you can live the life you want.
I specialize in treating, Sexual Trauma, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These interventions enable you to look at thoughts that increase feelings of anxiety, and interfere with your ability to cope with stressors to move forward in life.
