Hey y'all!
My name is Hope, I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Home of Hope, Counseling & Therapy AND I'm OPEN to new clients! :) I have worked in the Mental health field since 2016; primarily servicing those 13 - 65. Majority of my clients have intersectional identities that unfortunately come along with complex trauma and PTSD. Sometimes, these trauma’s bring about depression, anxiety, OCD, or personality disorders. I’m here to support my client’s to feel empowered throughout their mental health journey. You don't always have to be "ready" for therapy, just willing.
Therapy with me ranges from talk therapy, trauma work, exposure response prevention treatment, strengthening of emotional intelligence, boundary setting and development of skills to help navigate the day to day. I tend to utilize a straight forward approach, and always look to challenge my clients to lean into their discomforts if it brings forth growth.
It’s important to remember that healing is not linear. Therefore, I'm here to go at your pace. I believe therapy to be a relationship we both cultivate, so I don't rush it. I'll never promise to “fix” you; only to hear, hold space for, and support you in reaching whatever it is that you're after. Just to meet you where you are at, nothing more than that!
