The mental world is truly fascinating. It can bring us joy, excitement, and happiness, but it can also lead to feelings of depression and anxiety. These emotions are normal and experienced by everyone, though they vary in intensity, manifestation, and cause. No matter what you're feeling, if something is making you uncomfortable, it's important to reach out and talk to someone. Your emotions deserve to be seen, valued, and supported—and as a therapist, I'm here to be that person for you.
In our sessions, you have complete freedom. You can choose the topics and direction, and I will be your attentive listener, using my professional expertise to support you. This is a space where you can express your thoughts and feelings fully, and I will do everything I can to help you overcome challenges and grow.
As an Asian therapist fluent in both Mandarin and English, I’m here to offer counseling in the language that makes you feel most at ease. My experiences living in both China and the U.S. have given me a deep and nuanced cultural understanding. This perspective allows me to connect with and support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

Groups
Support Group for Chinese students in the U.S.
Many Chinese international students in the U.S. face various family-related challenges. You might feel the need to constantly address your parents/relatives' concerns, and missing a call could lead to blame and complaints. Or the opposite, you feel hurt and alone because there is little emotional support. Our group offers a safe space for you to gain a deeper understanding of the unique family dynamics within the Chinese community. Here, you can explore possible solutions to your own family relationship challenges, and you won't be alone. We take most insurances, please feel free to email us.
