Hi, my name is Hollye Chaumont-Scheulen and I am a licensed professional counselor who is EMDR trained in the state of Missouri. I received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University. My life experience gives me a unique perspective that allows me to relate to clients from all walks of life. When you are going through something difficult, it can often feel like you are all alone. Reaching out to a counselor can be scary, but I want you to know that you are not alone. We all have times when we need a listening ear and a voice of hope.
My hope is to offer a safe space and give you the freedom to be yourself as we build a trusted therapeutic relationship that will allow you to grow so that you can connect and live more fully into your true identity. I delight in helping people discover their own answers by collaborating together to establish goals while promoting psychological healing.
Hollye works within a whole person approach framework and is passionate about accepting people right where they are at while fostering growth at the client's own pace.
