I work with people who want to grow - emotionally, intellectually, professionally - in order to be more satisfied with their lives. I am an active partner in my clients' emotional growth and well-being. When people call me, whether in crisis or struggling with one of life's ordinary challenges, they are often in pain, feeling alone and overhwelmed. I help them unpackage their beliefs and ways of understanding and doing their lives. Together, we are better equipped to discover and create new possibilities: new ways of seeing, relating and doing life and relationships.
Social therapy is a non-diagnositic, radically humanistic and relational approach to therapy and life which locates people's emotional pain and problems in society rather than in the individual. Seeing life as an on-going improvisational performance, I help clients learn how to improvise and perform their lives more effectively.
I work with people of all ages, in individual, couples, family and group therapy. I lead performance-based workshops on parenting, teaching, relationships and wellness. I also provide clincial supervision to psychotherapists and other health care practitioners.

Relax and Breathe Wellness Class
Deep physical and mental relaxation is healing, nourishing and rejuvenating. It helps us sleep better, lowers our blood pressure, and allows us to respond more mindfully and appropriately to whatever comes at us. In our complex, over-stressed, fast-paced 21st century world, deep relaxation does not happen naturally or often enough. The good news is, it is a skill anyone can develop. Learn how to relax through experiential exercises including guided awareness, breath work, gentle yoga poses and mindfulness meditation.
