I believe that fostering an open and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients is key to getting the most out of therapy. Together we are able to focus on gaining insight into interpersonal relationships and identifying the patterns that affect them. I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing various struggles related to trauma, stress, and life adjustments. I often target issues related to shame with people. I've learned that shame and fear often drive most of our struggles. I also enjoy working with folks who are in recovery from addiction. I have been in recovery since 2018.

I have worked in various settings in the mental health field since 2008. I often use EMDR and “parts work” to help people process through adverse life experiences. These processes can help shift past wounds that have gotten stuck in our system. I like this approach because it is more than just "talking about it." I have been using EMDR for 12 years.

I believe I offer a safe non judgmental space to process emotions. I look forward to speaking with you!
