I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. With extensive family therapy experience, I hold both a family-based certification and a certification in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Mental Health Counseling at Geneva College.
I am passionate about helping my clients move beyond their pasts and establish healthy thinking patterns and behaviors. My approach encourages clients to realize that their pasts do not have to define or control their present or future. I am a nonjudgmental, compassionate listener who focuses on building trust and putting clients at ease.
I enjoy connecting with my clients on a deep, personal level, exploring what motivates them, and helping them develop realistic, achievable goals to live their best lives.
