My passion for helping my clients involves providing the space to feel heard, validated, and empowered to commit to positive behavioral health changes for themselves, interpersonally and with the world around them. My theoretical lens is grounded through my studies and practice in humanistic theory, attachment-based theory, child development, and family systems theory. I strive to help individuals and when working with families to develop healthier communication, interpersonal, behavioral, relational and coping skills to strengthen both their interpersonal relationships and positive behaviors, for overall mental well-being.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities based on specific needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Integrative, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Exposure Therapy and adopt a person-centered approach to build trust, rapport, and engage with my clients throughout services.
