Are you struggling as a queer person in today’s world? Would you like support with coming out or transitioning? I'm an out therapist and specialize in LGBTQ affirmative therapy, with a focus on trans/gender identity issues. In our work together we focus on your authentic needs and what is important to you. Using a compassionate lens, we uncover obstacles that previously kept you stuck. With new self awareness, mood and confidence improve, paving the way for goals such as coming out, expressing yourself more freely, and connecting with queer community.
We all need unconditional acceptance and support to heal and grow. And we all belong. In our sessions you will be received with deep care and exploration that honors your truth and story. Because therapy is a relational process, it has the power to heal all types of trauma and reconnect you with your innate belonging in the world.
My work is based on the understanding that sexual and gender identity can evolve over a lifetime. I'm passionate about this exploration and supporting you in ways that work for your unique style. In my practice I work with adults age 21 and older and welcome people from all backgrounds. Clients often report feeling completely seen and heard in our sessions.
