Accepting new adult women clients. I'm a licensed professional counselor who is currently seeing clients one-on-one via teletherapy and in person at my Sellwood office. My clients tend to be hard workers who their loved ones see as self-sacrificing. These women tend to overextend themselves, become burned out, and subsequently struggle with their physical and mental health. I have a passion for helping these clients rebalance their priorities, set healthier boundaries, learn more about themselves, and communicate their needs more effectively, to help them move toward greater life satisfaction and emotional well-being.
I specialize in working with women from diverse backgrounds who struggle with maintaining satisfying and fulfilling relationships, establishing healthy work-life balance, their sexuality, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, PTSD, shame, anxiety, depression, and general life dissatisfaction, and women who have experienced sexual abuse and/or violence.
Emotional wounds and unresolved traumas tend to manifest in many destructive ways. Unfortunately, humans aren't capable of simply "getting over" these things.
