I believe that achieving & maintaining mental health is as important as maintaining one’s physical health. I will partner with you on your road to self-improvement, self-discovery, & personal empowerment. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to make the commitment to themselves to do the work necessary to implement change. I will assist clients in developing the self-awareness needed to identify obstacles they are encountering that prevent them from leading their most fulfilling life. Together, we will work towards you developing the skills necessary to make meaningful emotional, behavioral, and life changes.
My areas of expertise include mood disorders (depression/anxiety), schizophrenia, personality disorders, trauma/PTSD, & substance use disorders. I am experienced in working with military veterans. I also specialize in working with individuals who are a part of the criminal justice system on both the juvenile and adult levels.
I do not believe you have to be in therapy for an indefinite period of time. In some instances, meaningful changes can be made in shorter periods. I will equip you with the necessary skills to thrive while minimizing the amount of time in treatment. We will identify your needs, establish goals, & work to establish new, healthy thought processes & behaviors.
