About
We possess the ability to create a fulfilling, joyful existence, but trauma, emotional wounding, loss, life transitions, conditions while growing up, plus stressors of day-to-day living, can drown out our inner wisdom or intuition. I enjoy collaborating with the unique qualities each individual brings to therapy and provide an environment that is safe and conducive to deep reflection, validation and positive change. I believe that with the right type of support, one can transform painful experiences and life circumstances into opportunities for healing and growth.
I favor holistic, humanistic and psychodynamic approaches with mindfulness and creative/art therapies. My identity as a bi-racial person (Dakota Sioux and Western European) informs my ability to offer support to those who identify as White as well as to those that identify as People of Color.
I offer video therapy through a HIPAA compliant platform. This requires a device with a web camera, microphone and a reliable internet connection.
