Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and have close to 20 years of experience in the field, working in family homes, county jails, agencies, a psychiatric hospital, and now private practice. I put a lot of emphasis on getting to know you as a person, as I believe you are your own expert. I also believe it is the therapeutic relationship that is fundamental to good therapy and simultaneously supports change. I use a variety of techniques and modalities in therapy that are catered to your needs, goals, and individual self.
I have extensive training in more holistic practices, including mental health and nutrition, EFT, etc . I specialize in grief and loss as well as death and dying in both group settings and in individual therapy. I have recently completed certification through the University of Vermont as a death doula to provide end-of-life care for individuals and families.
I do not accept outside referrals from other agencies, organizations or providers. Potential clients are encouraged to contact me directly. I am very down-to-earth, approachable, thoughtful, and honest to best support your transformation in becoming the best you possible.
