Hello, my name is Holly, and I am the owner and represent the staff at Harris Counseling and Support Services. My entire educational and professional focus has been the healthcare field, primarily as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist. My formal education includes: a Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Kirtland Community College; a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University; a Master of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation for the Emotionally/Mentally Impaired from Central Michigan University; and a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University.
I respectfully bring in the development of this agency 39 years of experience in helping families, children, adults, and adolescents in all aspects of mental health and substance use disorders. I have also worked in a variety of settings, both outpatient/inpatient mental health and substance use programs as well as county jails, hospitals, and prisons.
I enjoy working with the adult populations that are diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Trauma, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Dissociative disorders. I am very focused on women and young women who are seeking a change and wanting empowerment to help finding their purpose and path in life.
