I am passionate about working with children who are experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns (acting out), school/learning challenges, ADHD, and depression. I utilize a structured, family-based approach in treatment, involving the parents in treatment planning. I also work with teens, college students, and young adults, particularly in navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, and relationship concerns. I also offer psychological testing for Early Admission to Kindergarten, ADHD, Specific Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, and those who may be academically gifted.
My treatment approach is goal-oriented and supported by evidence-based research. From the first session, therapy is structured and tailored to meet your personal goals. I have completed specific trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Family Therapy, and Love and Logic Parenting. I am also a trained CBT and ACT clinician.
Coming to therapy for the first time can be a difficult step and requires a great deal of courage! My goal is to make my office a place of rest, where you can be yourself! I aim to have an approach that is inviting, client-centered, relatable, and organized. We will create a plan together to help you meet your personal goals. I look forward to meeting you!
