As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I specialize in providing treatment for healing from all forms of trauma, abuse and neglect. My MSW graduate research and extensive continuing education studies focused heavily on understanding the impacts of trauma and on learning about effective treatments for trauma-related mental health disorders.
In addition to my MSW degree, I also hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. My therapeutic approach involves combining in-depth understanding of human physiology with a variety of mental health treatment modalities to design individualized treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each client.
