I currently have a few openings during the traditional school day (9am-3pm). As a social worker with over 25 years of experience, I provide strengths-based therapy to individuals and families experiencing a wide range of issues. We can work together to decrease anxiety, improve self-esteem, self-confidence and social skills, enhance relationships, and ease life transitions (etc). My approach to therapy is warm, nonjudgmental and collaborative. I personalize treatment to meet the needs of each unique individual, using a range of treatment modalities.
My specialties includes supporting tweens/teens as they learn to navigate adolescence and make healthy life choices. With children, I believe in using playful activities to achieve therapy goals while making sessions fun. With adults, I am caring, empathic and nonjudgmental. With couples/families, I work hard to make sure every voice is heard and valued.
I can provide support in developing healthier coping strategies; creating new patterns in relationships; understanding your child's behavior; approaching challenging situations or transitions; or finding relief from depression, anxiety, stress.
