My name is Holly Christianson and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Austin, Minnesota and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with individuals, children and families and specialize in trauma, stress and relationships using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brainspotting to provide a safe, inclusive space and individualized treatment to help facilitate change.
My approach to therapy centers around the therapeutic relationship, connection and curiosity. I approach each session with unconditional positive regard and the belief that you hold the answers you are looking for within you. I use brain and body-based approaches such as Brainspotting to help you rediscover your true purpose and path.
My communication style is client-driven, at your pace and within your window of tolerance, but always with unconditional positive regard and authenticity. I'm calm, regulated, and ready to hold what comes up in session with the reassurance there is no wrong way to do therapy.
