I offer solution focused, supportive psychotherapy to target and relieve unwanted symptoms and behaviors. I combine conventional treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy with a variety of mind-body treatment methods such as hypnosis, EMDR and psychodrama. This comprehensive approach works rapidly to decrease symptoms and leads to longer lasting change and well being. My ideal client is motivated to grow and make positive changes. They are looking for a therapist to partner with them in a nurturing and supportive environment.
I work with adults and teens. Common symptoms individuals experience include excessive stress, anxiety, depression or compulsive or addictive behavior. Some individuals are healing from abusive or neglectful childhoods or more recent traumatic experiences. Symptoms often manifest as physical complaints, performance problems, or relationship difficulties.
I rely on my strong training in conventional therapy,and meaningful mind-body experiential approaches to create an individualized and targeted treatment plan. In addition to my training, I offer hopeful, loving and supportive direction in a safe and calming environment to every one of my clients.
