Holistic Family Therapy serves families who seek stronger connections, effective communication and reduced chaos. I am primarily a DBT therapist and work in person with families, and older adolescents.
My practice is client focused and trauma informed. I am an intensively trained as a DBT therapist and I work while grounded in body awareness and mindfulness. I use an attachment lens to help build awareness of the conditions that separate us from self and others.
My values as a therapist are rooted in inclusivity, respect, and self-awareness. I bring humor, metaphor, and a feminist perspective to our time together. As a trauma-informed therapist, we will begin with forming a safe and grounded space that allows for connection.

DBT for adults
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a form of behavioral therapy that teaches skills to help people manage emotions, communicate with others, handle stressful experiences and be more mindful of their thoughts, feelings and environment. It was originally designed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder and self-harming behaviors and is an evidence based treatment for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, and family conflict. You must be in individual therapy with an outside therapist in order to join the group. Before starting group DBT training, you must first complete a fee based 50 minute initial consultation.
