I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to change, learn, and develop new skills. Honesty helps the process tremendously! I enjoy working with them because I have so many tips and techniques that I have seen work, and that gives me a great deal of motivation and drive to help them!

I work with a lot of men who are balancing work and relationships. I see clients who are overwhelmed in their jobs, frustrated with demands coming from so many people and places. Sometimes a partner insists on the need for counseling! Kids,teens, or even adult children can be a source of stress. And then there are the teens I see whose home-life, school, or relationship pressures stress them out. Others are in the second half of life, or may be feeling the pain of divorce or loss. There is definitely hope! I’ll work with you as you need it, giving you a space to talk about things you’re facing in your life, and offering coaching.

Katie Henson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who has been practicing since 2019. She studied for her undergraduate degree at Palm Beach Atlantic University at the Orlando Campus. She completed my graduate internship through the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Troy University's Altamonte Springs campus where she completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Katie furthered her education as a Practicing Registered Intern with LifeStream Behavioral Center and continues to take continuing educations to enhance her knowledge as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
