With over 25 years experience in the mental health field, I offer a wide variety of knowledge and consider myself an anxiety expert. I enjoy working with all age groups, especially children, tweens & teens alongside their families. I also specialize in working with young adults who are having difficulty navigating quarter-life and mid-life transitions, with my focus being on creating clarity and lowering anxiety. With my senior clients, I help them better establish boundaries and cope with health issues which can be overwhelming. I also bring a mindfulness/meditation element to my sessions to help client's focus on the present.
I believe that as human beings we all struggle at different times in our life and see my role as helping individuals and families work through these struggles to increase functioning, authenticity and happiness. Using a family systems perspective I help my clients better understand their relationship patterns, and therefore change them.
I specialize in working with client's who struggle with OCD, Social Phobia, and Specific Phobias. Being results driven, I enable clients to set reachable goals to start living the productive healthy life that they envision. Utilizing my life coaching training, I also help direct clients in a new career path or increase success in their current one.
