Often times, individuals get stuck in the “mud” of life. Sometimes mud is past trauma, various experiences, mental health concerns, and grief. My goal in working with individuals is to find acceptance in the mud in order to live a more fulfilling life. While I specialize in some populations more than others, I find that creating a strong therapeutic relationship is paramount. You are more important than a diagnosis. I tend to connect well with individuals who are in stages of change, difficulty connecting with emotions, interpersonal concerns, difficulty with setting boundaries, and wanting to develop coping skills.

I bring over 20 years of experience to the Presbyterian Counseling Center. I offer a unique opportunity for people who come to me for counseling to become aware of issues about their relationships with others, and also develop a deeper awareness and appreciation of their world and their place in it...a spiritual search.
