My focus as a therapist is on healing trauma through the attachment lens. When defining trauma, I like to quote Gabor Mate who states that Trauma is not what happens to you, it is what happens inside you. The traumatic event may have been the abandonment that happened years ago, but the trauma itself is the crippling fear inside when someone we love doesn't respond quickly enough. Unfortunately, we can't change the past, but we Can change the ways it affects our present and our future. I hope to offer you closure by helping you understand the How and Why of your trauma.

Hi there! I am a gender queer, pansexual, latinx, therapist who specializes in working with women, queer and gender diverse, polyamorous folks, and is DID affirming. I work with ages 15 and up, specializing in late adolescence and young adulthood. My niche within trauma is childhood trauma, emotional and sexual abuse. Trauma work and growth is beautifully messy, I want my clients to feel brave enough and safe enough to get their hands dirty with me for the sake of growth and peace.
