My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

I take an integrative eclectic therapy approach that fits you. I believe it is a team approach between the client and therapist to work actively towards treatment goals. I have 14 years of experience in multiple therapeutic settings working with a culturally diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience designing and implementing appropriate individualized treatment plans with clearly defined culturally sensitive goals that encourage healthy supportive environments, communication between children and their support system and promotes mental wellness for the whole child, fostering resiliency.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling at Southwestern Adventist University while working at the local mental health authority Pecan Valley Centers in Cleburne, TX. I worked as a case manager, LPC-Intern, and an on-call crisis responder. I was trained using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) among many other trainings. I worked at The Johnson County Children's Advocacy Center as a counselor where I was fully trained in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) and Play Therapy. At the advocacy center I worked primarily with youths who suffer from trauma.

The ideal client is the person who has taken that step to ask for help. Nothing is too great or too insignificant to talk through with someone who has got the tools and insight to help you find solutions.

I will be sincere, genuine and compassionate as I listen to your needs and help guide you through the storm. I have 10 plus years of experience serving children, teens and adults who had or were suffering from trauma at all levels; daily and chronic stress; mental health disorders, spiritual warfare, anger, anxiety, grief, depression and more. I use a variety of techniques to help you navigate life and not only survive it but have growth from any challenge. I enjoy using art, play, narrative, music, spiritual and holistic techniques. interventions.
