I use EMDR and integrative-psychodynamic therapy, with a focus on treating trauma. Currently, I am seeking members for two therapy groups (see below). These are "traditional groups," like you see in the movies. We don't teaching coping skills and they are not psychoeducational. This is a group experience where you can talk openly and honestly with your peers about your problems, hear their problems, and ask for and receive feedback. All groups are online; if we don't take your insurance, the out-of-pocket fee is $75. Call to see if one of these groups is right for you.
GROUP 1: Female survivors of trauma. This group is for women who have survived different kinds of trauma. Though most of its members are survivors of some sort of sexual trauma, that is not necessary to be considered for the group (online-only; fee is $75).
GROUP 2: Military combat veterans. This group is open to men and women who have experienced combat trauma. It provides an open forum to talk about your experiences. I worked at the VA for 13 years and have extensive experience with these matters. This group is open to all combat veterans from all wars (online-only; fee is $75).

This group is for female survivors of trauma. It is an open space for you to share your experience of trauma and its impact on you. Many survivors never have an opportunity to tell their stories or to hear the stories of other survivors. I have found when I can create a safe, connected space for such authentic sharing to occur a natural process of growth, transformation, and recovery unfolds. This will be the aim of this group. This group is online-only. If we don't take your insurance, the out-of-pocket fee is $75.

I have 13 years experience working at the VA, having served veterans of all wars as far back as the Korean War. This group is an open space for all veterans from all wars to talk about their combat experiences. Often, such things are deeply private and personal and it feels like you can never tell anyone about what you have been through. In this group, that is not the case.
