Welcome! As a Psychologist, I work with people who are in the process of self-discovery, experience relational issues, or are being affected by mood disorders, health, discrimination, grief/loss, and stress/trauma. I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to discuss your concerns and together address the things that affect you. I have expertise using a wide range of psychotherapy approaches, from supportive to evidenced-based, in community mental health clinics, primary care settings, and medical centers. I am bilingual (Spanish), and use trauma-informed, LGBTQ-affirming, multicultural, and humanistic frameworks.
My diverse training and work experiences have allowed me to witness and address multiple issues in individuals. I specialize in identity development, interpersonal and communication issues, and skills development to manage psychological concerns. I have been trained in various evidence-based therapies that specifically address mental health disorders.
Addressing symptoms, bringing insight, developing coping mechanisms, and creating lifestyle changes are some of the many goals in therapy.
