In my 25 years of practice I have worked with, and helped, hundreds of people from different social and economic backgrounds. The commonality I have found in working with all of these people is that they come into therapy with the strong desire to talk and connect with someone who is accepting and not judgmental of them. I provide this atmosphere with the people who come in to see me, as well as provide them with competent therapeutic guidance.

As a therapist, my goal is to help you better understand, resolve and find solutions to the challenges and/or trauma in your life. Depression, fears and anxieties can dull our ability to experience joy and lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. By applying complementary therapeutic approaches, we can unearth behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from realizing your true potential while maintaining and protecting all that you have already achieved. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing services in a private office in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.

At times during our lives people often struggle with feelings of anxiety, depression, or find themselves having difficulty and conflict in relationships. I take an active and eclectic approach to help my Clients gain insight into why they are feeling the way they do, as well as to find the courage necessary to make changes that will help them lead happier and more meaningful lives. My office is in a private residential setting with access to parking and public transportation. I accept cash, check, and credit card payments and provide invoices for out of network reimbursement.

I have over 40 yrs of experience with individuals & couples. My focus is compassionate, emotion focused & dynamic. My trainings include affective experiential; hypnotherapy; cognitive. I am direct, responsive and caring, utilizing your own inner resilence and drive towards health to insure your healing.

I have been working in the field for the past six years. I'm a fully licensed professional who, during a successful career directing programs on Long Island and Queens has moved completely into private practice. I continue to update my knowledge. I am compassionate, honest and want to provide you with the tools necessary to overcome any issue, whether from your family of origin, current relationships or work/school related. I offer guidance and healing, teaching you skills necessary to meet the challenges we face in life, from anxiety, depression, alcohol/substance abuse or religious/spiritual conflicts. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of expereince with all age levels. I work in helping to clarify issues, develop self-esteem and improve relationships and personal fulfillment. Specialization in self development, co-dependancy, couples therapy, and parenting of young and adult children. Coping with stress including meditation is also a focus.
