I provide counseling for individuals, couples, and families by creating a positive and caring treatment environment based on specific needs of each client. Using integrative, psychodynamic, CBT and interactive therapeutic methods, I help the client overcome the existing problem, implement behavioral changes, and explore his/her potential more effectively in everyday life. I am working in two locations: in Queens and Manhattan. My both offices is conveniently located in NY and it is easily accessible by public transportation. I have flexible working hours and I am open to scheduling counseling sessions on the weekends and late evenings, as well as any emergency appointments, if needed.

We can help you get back on track. We can help you to cope with the thoughts and feelings you are experiencing about your train "falling off the tracks". We can help you figure out what routes to take in your life and people you need to have near you along your journey.

Everyone deserves to live a fulfilled life consisting of freedom, happiness, inner piece and growth. As a psychotherapist, I work collaboratively with my clients to achieve these goals in order for them to live a happier life. My goal is to instill hope in my clients and guide them towards self-acceptance. My work with clients involves building the therapeutic relationship through empathy, unconditional positive regards, mindfulness and creativity. By providing clients with safe and non-judgmental environment we work towards exploring and resolving personal conflicts to help the client achieve growth and live a meaningful life.

Through Meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Hypnosis, and Gestalt Therapy, I help people contact this part of themselves, shed negative patterns of behavior, and realize their full potential. I am a psychologist and therapist who focuses on marriage counseling, ADHD, Alcohol and substance abuse, identity formation and parenting issues. I address feelings of emptiness, difficulties in managing emotions, relationships, anger, anxiety and depression in order to increase your level of self-awareness which can be totally life changing. I also do psychological evaluations for court, custody, bariatric and academic achievement.

In a rapidly changing world, one can find it challenging to deal with feeling mad, afraid, sad or even glad! My aim is to help alleviate that pain. I use an integrative approach to understand your life experiences, feelings, and the reason for seeking counsel. I believe each person already has in them the potential to grow. A personal transformation through the process of psychotherapy can help facilitate this growth. Eventually, this will give you a greater understanding of yourself, others and the world around you.

Patricia S. Pagan, LMSW; Bilingual (English and Spanish) social work therapist who graduated from New York University with a Master’s of Social Work and completed her Bachelor's of Social Work at Georgian Court University. Patricia has extensive experience working closely with children, teenagers and adults, utilizing ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), Psychodynamic Therapy, in addition to Psychoeducation to help clients develop tools and insight that they can use towards managing life’s challenges.

I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families to address and navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, self-esteem, and relationships with care.

Marissa (she/her) is a seasoned psychotherapist, educated at NYU's Silver School of Social Work, with almost 10 years of experience in various mental health treatment settings. Prior to this, she obtained her J.D. in law where she focused on advocating for underserved communities. She was drawn to the human connection that she is able to have with her patients now that she felt had been missing in her legal career. Marissa is empathic, warm, open-minded, and relational in her therapeutic approach.

LET'S TALK. Ever since psychotherapy (the talking cure) was conceived over 100 years ago it has grown and evolved. But one thing remains constant: talking with someone about the things that bother you, in a safe and empathic environment is curative. It is the first step to changing the way you think, feel and act. In more than 20 years of practice, I have studied and mastered various techniques of psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral, relational, psychodynamic) and will utilize these in our work together.

In the 20 years that I've practiced psychotherapy I've come to appreciate the uniqueness and complexities that make us who we are. When problems arise and it is decided to enter therapy, it becomes something of a "Magical Mystery Tour" into our inner world, hopefully to learn more about ourselves.

Healing comes in many guises. We can heal from a cut hand with a band aid, we can heal from a broken bone by setting it and isolating it in a cast, but when we heal from hurting feelings and trauma, we're not as savvy on how to heal this. Sometimes, when we're traumatized, we don't know what to do to feel better.
