My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive space to help you to find a greater sense of purpose and trust your unique wisdom. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to confront issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction, domestic violence, physical/sexual abuse, complicated grief, sexuality and gender issues, major life changes and chronic health issues including HIV/AIDS. I have experience working with diverse groups and weave an anti-oppressive stance into my understanding of complex issues.
I have a warm, grounded, and authentic therapeutic style utilizing curiosity, compassion, and humor. In my practice, I encourage healing from a holistic perspective and believe in the power of meditation, exercise, nutrition, and movement.
I have 10 years of experience working in the mental health field both in private practice and community based organizations. I obtained my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in 2012.

Body Positivity and Self Love
This pandemic has causes so much uncertainty and robbed us of a sense of control. For some, when we feel out of control, we might fixate on body-related insecurities or ways of finding control through food/exercise. If this rings true for you, my Zoom group therapy could give you an outlet and a source of support. I am limiting the group size to 6-8 individuals and will start in early/mid June. *This is a group for cis/trans women and non-binary individuals only.*
