My path to mental health counseling was driven by a deep interest in understanding the emotional struggles we all face. With a background in both mental health counseling and art therapy, I aim to help others heal through both verbal and nonverbal approaches. In a world that often feels chaotic, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves and struggle to express our pain. I believe in a holistic approach to healing, integrating both the mind and body. By identifying and overcoming emotional roadblocks, we can find balance and move toward lasting happiness.
For over 12 years I’ve focused on trauma-informed care, nature informed therapies, and integrating creative arts into therapeutic practices. I'm also interested in exploring the new developments in neurobiology and how they intersect with mental health, as well as expanding my knowledge of somatic therapy to better address the mind-body connection.
