About
I help adults, teens, and couples who are caught in unhealthy and unfulfilling patterns and want guidance and support in the process of changing. These patterns can take the form of low self-esteem, indecisiveness, procrastination, anger, anxious feelings, negative thinking, addictive behaviors, or unhealthy relationships. My clients are not looking for anyone to fix them, including myself, but in the process of therapy many clients gain confidence in healing themselves and living their lives with greater agency, conviction, and self-compassion.
Above all, I create safety and trust to explore how your unique life experiences have contributed to your current issues. I believe this is crucial to getting at the root of a problem and making lasting change. I do this with both engaging conversation and creative processes. No silent head-nodding here; I am active and involved in all therapy sessions.
A silver lining of the past few years is that many of us have realized that certain patterns and cycles cannot continue forward. While this can be scary, therapy can be a consistent place to experiment with new ways of being, process the hard feelings that come with transformation, and remain accountable to your intentions.
