Sometimes you wonder: Wasn't I supposed to be happy by now? When did life get so tough? PTSD and trauma make it hard to cope, and depression and anxiety rob you of the joy you used to find in even the simple things. Loss feels so heavy. Betrayal by a trusted one, such as a parent, friend, or partner, leads to hurt and shame that you never asked for. Lack of understanding by those closest to you leaves you feeling alone and isolated.
I help people find hope again. I'm a trauma / EMDR therapist specializing in PTSD and complex trauma. Working with survivors of child abuse, rape/sexual assault, narcissistic abuse, and other violence, I’ve helped clients overcome unspeakable atrocities. I’ve spent years working with people just like you, striving to reclaim peace in their lives.
The common lie my clients tell themselves is, “It’s not that bad, other people have it worse.” You are not other people, and if your life is being impacted by the heavy emotions you’re carrying, you deserve to get help.
