When we find ourselves feeling burdened or "blocked", or when a certain satisfaction in life seems out of reach, it is often difficult to understand why things aren't clearer to us, or why we can't simply make the changes we want. The truth is, for all of us there is much that goes on in our psyches which eludes our awareness, but which nonetheless informs how we think, how we feel, and even how we act. So the question becomes, how can we open a window into those pockets of our inner world which somehow keep us stymied.
In our work together, my focus is on uncovering and processing the underlying dynamics which find expression in the issues that trouble you. Through the insights you achieve, new perspectives and ways of experiencing both yourself and others become available to you.
I am a licensed psychotherapist, with a doctoral degree in psychoanalysis. I am on the faculty of the Newport Psychoanalytic Institute, and served on their Board of Directors 2012-2016. I’ve been a practitioner of Kriya meditation for over 40 years. Sessions are offered in-person, or by phone or video. An initial consultation session is offered at no charge.
