I specialize in supporting individuals and couples through the emotional challenges of pregnancy/postpartum, infertility, and reproductive grief—including postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, miscarriage, and infant loss. Whether you're navigating fertility treatments, medical complications, or grieving a stillbirth or later-term loss, you deserve care from someone who understands the emotional and physical toll of these experiences. I’ve worked extensively with people facing the complexities of these life altering circumstances, offering support processing what has happened, and achieving relief from disruptive symptoms.
While my work is deeply rooted in perinatal mental health, I’ve come to recognize how the challenges of parenting (and adulthood) evolve across the lifespan. In addition to supporting individuals during pregnancy and postpartum, I also work with parents navigating identity shifts, burnout, anxiety, and relational strain well beyond the early years.
I trained at The Postpartum Stress Center and have co-authored The Art of Holding in Therapy, 2nd ed. (Routledge, 2024), The Perinatal Patient: A Compassionate Approach to treating Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, and Related Disorders (PESI Publishing, 2023), and Dropping the Baby and Other Scary Thoughts, Rev ed. (Routledge, 2020) with Karen Kleiman, LCSW.
