Finding the right therapist for yourself or your child can often times be daunting. My goal as an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is to provide you with a safe and trusting environment where you can express yourself authentically and grow. I believe that everyone is capable of change, which is why I am passionate about helping and empowering my clients. Together we will work to overcome obstacles and challenges that you are currently experiencing or have experienced in the past.
I use an integrative approach, which allows me to use what works best for you. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and relationships. I use evidence based practices and have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR. I am also a Virginia board approved supervisor for LPC residents in Virginia.
My practice, Exploration Counseling, is dedicated to providing individualized and compassionate trauma informed care for adults, teens, and children.
